University of Jember (UNEJ) is located in the city of Jember, a town packed in the southeast tropical East Java Province. UNEJ campus is located in the area of green environment-friendly, giving tranquility in conducting academic activities. Jember city itself is located between the crater of Mount Bromo and Ijen and is surrounded by plantation mostly planted tobacco, coffee, cacao and sugar cane.
There are two majority of the population living in Jember, namely Java and Madura community who each have their unique culture. Two ethnic and cultural characteristics of the area combined with the plantation is established that the combination of the beautiful natural scenery and cultural heritage. This is in place UNEJ forward and continue to develop.
